The Great Texas Doctor Shortage

This one's short:

What doctor, after spending a gazillion dollars and a decade in school, will want to come to Texas and start a medical practice, now that we have legislators willing to override medical training and recommendations?

There's a huge revolution coming in medicine, with genetic information, metabolic and mitochondrial research bringing together entire branches of science -- and we will not be leading any part of that.  In a few years, we'll be sending our wealthy patients to other states for diagnosis and treatment.

Our poor patients will suffer and die here.

It's not about abortion, friends.  In a few years, it will be about the standard of health care for all Texans, once we realize that we're sinking to the bottom of the barrel.  By then, it'll be too late for too many people.

I wish I was exaggerating.
